Can you replace just the part?
Yes. If the furnace is in good shape, replacing the failed part is usually the best value. We test the whole system afterwards.
How do I know which part failed?
No heat, short cycling or a flashing light can come from several parts. We diagnose first, so you only pay for the part you actually need.
Do you carry parts for older furnaces?
We source parts for most brands, including older units. If a part is discontinued or very expensive, we'll tell you upfront.
Is it worth fixing an old furnace?
If it's over about 15 years old and needs a motor, board or gas valve, a new high-efficiency furnace often makes more sense. We quote both.
Can I replace a flame sensor or igniter myself?
Gas appliances should be serviced by a licensed gas fitter in BC. We'll do it safely and test it properly.
